Privacy policy

• Gemius SA does not collect any personally-identifiable data about internet users. Their name, gender, age, address, etc. all remain anonymous. It is only the technical data about the user's computer which is gathered, but even this is limited to: operating system, browser type, screen resolution and geographic location determined on the basis of an IP address.
• Gemius SA does not integrate data gathered during research with any external databases containing personally-identifiable data.
• Gemius SA assigns cookies to browsers used by visitors coming to the monitored web pages. The cookie contains only a randomly generated set of characters. Thanks to the cookie mechanism, it is possible to identify the web browsers used by internet users, differentiate between first-time and returning visitors (cookies). Traffic monitoring from a particular browser can be disabled at any time by downloading the OPTOUT cookie.  
• Gemius SA guarantees full anonymity of all data gathered on behalf of our clients. The data gathered during research, be it raw-data or processed data, will not be disclosed to any third parties.
• Gemius SA does not influence results of any research study - neither at the raw-data nor at the level of processed data. 
• Gemius SA reserves the right to use data from the client’s web sites to prepare aggregate reports concerning the entire internet. These reports will only be presented in aggregate form and will not contain data concerning individual websites. It is impossible to derive individual web sites’ data from such aggregated data sets. 
• All our client data, either provided during the registration or in contracts with Gemius SA, will be kept confidential. This data will solely be used for: contacting clients as needed regarding the research service provided, communicating crucial information about execution of the research, correspondence relating to invoicing & payment.
